Active oxygen and kinetic muscle damage produced by the body during sports training activate the typical signal channel of NF-κB. The effect of NF-κB activity is related to the duration, frequency and intensity of sports training. Acute strenuous exercising causes the one time increase of NF-κB activity; long term regular sports training can lower NF-κB activity increas-ing as a result of aging and chronic inflammatory reaction; long term strenuous sports training results in the chronic, continuous activation of NF-κB, the changing of expression of various indexes on the channel, the increase of the concentration of subunit p65 of NF-κB aggregating in nucleus and transcription target genes, thus significantly in-creases the expression of inflammatory genes; on the one hand, it amplifies the exercise resisting stress of the intrin-sic immune system of the body, while on the other hand, it participates in the formation of kinetic chronic inflam-mation of skeletal muscle.
