Competition refers to the rivalry between two or more opponents for being excellent or No. 1 under the restriction of rules, originating from the imitation of phe-nomena of competition in daily life. The fundamental status of competitiveness has decided the rule and entertain-ment characteristics of sport, and given sport such 3 extrinsic functions as to discipline ethically, to profit economi-cally and to promote politically, thus provided a possibility for sports dissimilation - sport will dissimilate when certain external conditions are furnished. Competitiveness has comprehensive influence on sport, and an important position in many essential attributes of sport.
