| （Department of Physical Education，Guangdong University of Technology，Guangzhou 510006，China） Abstract: The ecosystem of sport cultures is an organic unity formed by the mutual connection between sport cul-tures and sport environments. In the author’s opinions, elements in the ecosystem of sport cultures mainly include sport events, emblematic symbols, native complex, historical heritage, cultural identity, social organizations, and sport environments; there is an ecological relation between these elements; the totality of these relations is the eco-system of sport cultures. The ecosystem of sport cultures is provided with characteristics such as whole, hierarchy specific, orderly, relevant, subject specific, etc.
