| （1.School of Physical Education，Langfang Teachers College，Langfang 065000，China；2.School of Physical Education，Xinjiang Normal University，Urumqi 830054，China） Abstract: The authors studied the feasibility, restricting factors and measures with respect to sport cultural commu-nication in the central Asia region, and thought that factors such as transnational homology, regional neighborhood, sports event similarity, long history of sports cultural communication, and political assurance of Shanghai Coopera-tion Organization, are conducive to sports cultural communication in the central Asia region, but such communica-tion is also affected by disturbing factors existing at home and abroad. The author put forward the following meas-ures: exert the functions of Confucius Institute; strengthen the construction of Confucius classes; exert the political assurance of Shanghai Cooperation Organization; promote the safety and sports communication and cooperation in the central Asia region; exert geographical advantages; deeply dig out tremendous potentials for sport cultural communication in the central Asia region; exert the bridging function of homologous nations and overseas Chinese in the central Asia region; strengthen traditional folk sports communication and cooperation.
