Abstract: Implementing a teacher qualification admittance system is a basic link in the development of teacher profes-sionalization. In the face of the major background that education in China will basically realize modernization in 2020 and the trend of worldwide development of establishing a special education teacher qualification admittance system, from the perspective of the reality of the current conditions of professionalization of physical education teachers in special edu-cation in China, the authors expatiated on the necessity to implement a physical education teacher qualification admittance system for special education in China; based on related policies of China and the foundation built early by the teacher qualification certification job done in China, the authors expatiated on the feasibility to implement a physical education qualification admittance system for special education in China. Based on the said analysis, the authors put forward sugges-tions for implementing a physical education teacher qualification admittance system for special education in China.
