(Department of Physical Education,Jinan University,Guangzhou 510632,China) Abstract: Aiming at such a current situation that there are serious property problems in the professionalization of competitive sports in China, the authors studied intangible properties in the process of professionalization of com-petitive sports in China by applying modern property system related theories, coupled with an empirical investiga-tion into league game management organizations and clubs. Based on their analysis, the authors concluded that most of sports intellectual properties contained in the professionalization of competitive sports in China have been trans-formed into intangible sports assets after many years of reform, and the belonging of the intangible properties of in-tangible assets has become the focus and problem origin in the process of professionalization. Under such a circum-stance, league game management organizations should further transfer their powers and profits, rationally adjust the allocation of the intangible properties of league games in order to benefit the clubs, which will be conducive to the sustainable development of the course of professionalization of competitive sports in China today.
