College physical education teaching in mainland China emphasizes lifetime sport and health first, bases mainly on developing students’ physical makings and cultivating their sports skills, places evaluation key factors on physical makings, techniques/skills and sports abilities; college physical education teaching in Taiwan emphasizes leisure intensified, independent and diversified development, bases mainly on developing students’ sports abilities and personality, and adopts diversified evaluation.
