Abstract: There are different orientations of sports value in China and the West.Due to cultural difference,the orientation of traditional sports value in China is anthropomorphized,cultivated, moralized and monotonized,while the orientation of sports value in the West is bodied,body-built,
athletic and multifarious. Studying the difference of sports value orientations in China and the West is provided with important meaning for us to inherit our traditional sports culture and to learn from western sports culture.
