| （School of Physical Education，Northeast Normal University，Changchun 130024，China） Abstract: The objectives of the Curriculum Program for the Physical Education Major (in the Normal Category) in Northeast Normal University are set to “cultivating students who adapt to the need for modern social development; guiding and promoting students to become independent learners with knowledge, experience, capability and responsibility; culti-vating students to become high caliber professionalized elementary and middle school physical education teachers who like to serve basic education and have innovative spirit and practical capability”. The curriculum system is composed of such 4 modules as education curriculum, professional education curriculum, career planning curriculum and graduation thesis, highlighting the combination of scientific education, humanistic education and aesthetical education, enhancing the humanity and science of general curriculum education, refining basic and main courses in specialized education, guiding series specialized curriculum learning, and specifying the occupational orientation of the career planning curriculum.
