(1.Department of Physical Education,Tongren University,Tongren 554300,China;2.Department of Physical Education,Tianjin University of Sport,Tianjin 300381,China) Abstract: The authors based their research subjects on 16 male players in the competitive aerobics team of Tianjin Insti-tute of Physical Education, divided them into a control group and an experiment group, did an 8-week experiment by using the ways of traditional strength training and traditional strength+core strength training respectively, and revealed the fol-lowing findings: the core strength and core stability of the players in the experiment group and the control group were somewhat enhanced, and the differences were significant, but the players in the experiment group had more significant en-hancement; the traditional strength and core strength combined training method was more conducive to enhancing the strength and stability of relevant muscle groups in the core area of the players; as compared with the players in the control group, the players in the experiment group had more significant enhancement both in competitive aerobics specific strength capacity and in landing stability of completed difficult jumping moves in group C.
