| （Department of Physical Education，Yuncheng University，Yuncheng 044000，China） Abstract: In producing and living practice over a long period of time, nations across the world have created diversi-fied, uniquely charming traditional sports events; all the traditional sports of each nation are unique cultural identi-ties and specimens of that nation, containing profound traditional cultural deposits. Under the background of glob-alization, the culture of traditional national sports in China has shown signs of cultural confusion and path depend-ence, lost the certainty of self value. With the increase of diversified objectives, endogenous power and cultural consciousness of the culture of traditional national sports, traditional national sports is seeking a cultural break-through, while elite groups and state forces are becoming important driving forces for seeking the root of the culture of traditional Chinese national sports.
