Abstract: Curriculum design, curriculum implantation and curriculum evaluation constitute core links in curriculum reform; the three core links in the reform of physical education curriculum in basic education in China in the new cen-tury are all facing new value choices. Physical education curriculum design should realize the organic integration of so-cial standard, disciplinary standard and student standard on the basis of people oriented design. Physical education cur-riculum implementation should base its course indicator on “health first”, enable the organic combination of fidelity orientation, mutual adaptation orientation and creation orientation. Physical education curriculum evaluation should comprehensively implement developing evaluation conceptions, embody its curriculum developing values in such as-pects as promoting curriculum perfection, professional development of teachers and healthy growth of students etc.
