| （Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics，Nanchang 330013，China) Abstract: By comparing related data of sport institutes and departments in China, the author found that sport insti-tutes and developments in China had a limited overall scale, an undiversified education management style, and a low degree of social popularity. By comparing with the data of US and European sport related institutes and depart-ments such as their names etc, the author found education management conducted by sport institutes and depart-ments in China had such a problem as self reclusion and isolation, seldom blending with other disciplines. Sport dis-cipline is the lead discipline in the development sport institutes and developments; if physical education majors fail to blend into the society initiatively, or if sport discipline fails to blend into other disciplines actively, there will be no way to talk about the overall development of sport science.
