| （School of Physical Education，South China Normal University，Guangzhou 510006，China) Abstract: After the ideology about military and civilian sports, the ideology about naturalistic sports, the ideology about intellectualistic sports, the ideology about “happy sports” and the ideology about lifetime sports were selected, modified and developed, they have profoundly affected the theoretical sublimation and practical innovation of school physical education in China in different historical periods, and become an ideological impetus that boosts the development of school physical education in China. Under the guidance of such an ideology as “heath first” in the new period, school physical education in China will be developed and perfected into an ideological system with “single ideology guidance and multiple ideology coexistence”, and work jointly on the reform and development of school physical education.
