(School of Physical Education,Guangzhou University,Guangzhou 510006,China) Abstract: Basing their research subject on comprehensive venue complexes used for the Guangzhou Asian Games, the authors introduced balanced score card based strategic map management tools to build a strategic map of the ef-fective postgame operation of comprehensive venue complexes, and put forward the following opinions: properly handling the relationship between the “public welfare providing nature” and “profit making nature” of public sports venues is the precondition for realizing the effective postgame operation of venues used for the Asian Games; the government’s policy intervention is the important assurance for realizing the effective postgame operation of venues used for the Asian Games; an intuitive visible strategic language should be used to replace traditional lengthy “plans”, so as to realize top-down consistency during strategy execution; in terms of specific operation, such 4 as-pects as finance, client, internal procedure as well as study and growth should be considered comprehensively.
