| （School of Physical Education，Zhoukou Normal University，Zhoukou 466001，China) Abstract: In the process of implementing physical education and health standard, there were problems such as in-accurate physical education classroom orientation, unspecific teaching targets, requirements and contents, inappro-priate implementation methods etc, accordingly the author put forward the following strategies for promoting the effective implementation of physical education and health curriculum standard: specify the orientation in terms of “curriculum nature”; specify the targets in terms of “curriculum objectives”; specify the scope in terms of “curricu-lum contents”; specify the methods in terms of “implementation suggestions” etc.
