| （School of Physical Education，Luoyang Normal University，Luoyang 471000，China) Abstract: Physical education teaching methods mainly include the method of narration based mainly on verbal de-livery, the method of demonstration based mainly on limb movement, the method of object demonstration assisted by media graphics etc. In physical education teaching, the roles played by a physical education teaching method are somewhat different based on different conditions, showing certain relativity, which is specifically embodied in the followings: the teaching effects produced by teaching different students the same content by applying the same method are different; the teaching effects produced by teaching the same student different contents by using the same method are different; the teaching effects produced by applying different students different contents by apply-ing the same method are different etc. The author suggested that teaching methods should be correctly selected and effectively applied from the perspectives of student, content and teacher.
