| （1.Graduate School，Beijing Sport University，Beijing 100084，China 2.Jilin Institute of Physical Education，Changchun 130022，China 3.Department of Physical Education，Jiangxi University of Finance and Economy，Nanchang 330013，China) Abstract: Based on “the combination of competition with education”, the author of the book titled A New Horizon of Competition Pedagogy advocated such a competition conception as “highest objective targeted people education” and such a competition culture as “people oriented management”, concluded that competition development manners at home and abroad show a trend of evolution from “surviving competition” to “developing competition”, and then to “enjoying competition”. The competition conception and culture advocated by as well as the trend of evolution of competition development manner put forward by the author of A New Horizon of Competition Pedagogy are signifi-cant for developing cultural competition, building a powerful sports nation and realizing the Chinese dream in China.
