Abstract: The physical education teacher pre-service education system in Korea has characteristics such as “multi-task physical education teacher pre-service education institution, strict public school physical education teacher examination and employment system, regular physical education institution evaluation system” etc. The curriculum setup for the physical education major in Korea has gradually realized the shifting from “basing the core on sports skills” to “basing the core on physical education teaching curriculum”, focused on cultivating students’ creative physical education teaching ability, intelligent teaching response ability as well as national physical education cur-riculum understanding and interpreting ability. There are the following inspirations to physical education teacher education in China: perfect laws and regulations, ensure physical education teacher status and interests; toughen the employment system, highlight the particularity of physical education teacher occupation; standardize the evaluation system, control physical education teacher education development direction; balance disciplinary and teaching method related courses, cultivate excellent physical education teachers; strengthen reading and writing ability ex-amination, enhance teachers’ communication abilities and association skills.
