| （1.Department of Physical Education，Fudan University，Shanghai 200433，China；2.The High School Affiliated，Fudan University，Shanghai 200433，China) Abstract: The middle and long distance running team of Fudan University is a successful mode of “independent cultural education and physical education united” cultivation, its successful experiences include the followings: trust and adherence to the “independent cultural education and physical education united” cultivation mode; strategic thinking about partner selection; institutionalizing the “self management” of team members; overcoming and coor-dinating the contradiction between cultural learning and physical training; making sports training scientific. How-ever, the “cultural education and physical education united” cultivation of the middle and long distance running team of Fudan University still needs to be improved in terms of registration management, institution construction, internal stimulation etc, hence the author put forward some action specific suggestions in terms of institution, mechanism, fund etc.
