摘      要：“土洋体育之争”是关于中国体育发展及现代转型的论争，其实质是国际性与民族性、时代性与传统性、科学本位与经验本位的冲突。通过这场争论增进了国人对西方体育的了解和对待外来文化的开放心理，并推动了武术的“体育化”改造与发展，使得“土体育”与“洋体育”由抵牾走向融合。此次争论从辩证看待“土洋体育”的异质性，保持和发展“土体育”的民族性；增强“土体育”的文化自觉，努力做到“和而不同”等方面，为以武术为代表的“土体育”的发展方向提供了深刻的启示。

Abstract: “The controversy about domestic and foreign sports” is a controversy about Chinese sports development and modern transformation, its nature is a conflict between international and national, contemporary and traditional, scientific standard and empirical standard. This controversy enhanced the Chinese’s understanding of western sports and their mind to open to foreign culture, boosted the remodeling and development of “sports transformation” of Wushu, and turned the relationship between “domestic sports” and “foreign sports” from conflicting to blending. This controversy looked at the heterogeneity of “foreign sports” dialectically, maintained and developed the national characters of “foreign sports”, enhanced the cultural awareness of “domestic sports”, and strived to provide pro-found enlightenment for the direction of development of “domestic sports” represented by Wushu in terms of “har-monic yet different” etc.
