| （1.School of Physical Education and Sport Science，Fujian Normal University，Fuzhou 350108，China；2.Department of Physical Education，Jingchu University of Technology，Jingmen 448000，China) Abstract: The author conducted a survey and system analysis on “Three Dragon Cultures” that have the same origin in the Han River region, and put forward the following opinions: the competition-oriented development of Xiang Yang Dragon Boat, the industrialization of Han Yang Tall Dragon and the marginalization of Qian Jiang Hay Dragon are caused by different geographical locations, organization and management manners, public needs and inheritance manners; related authorities should boost the competition-oriented development of folk sports in the Han River re-gion by focusing on the unification of modern spirit and traditional culture, form a mode of development of mod-ernization of folk sports in the Han River region by concurrently considering economic benefits and humanistic values, and prevent the marginalization of folk sports in the Han River region by utilizing the state’s policy support and the public’s cultural awareness.
