| （1.School of Physical Education，Shanghai Normal University，Shanghai 200234，China；2.Department of Physical Education，Tsinghual University，Beijing 100084，China) Abstract: By means of content analysis, the authors analyzed 116 articles about sports ethnography, published in such 3 sports sociology journals as IRSS, SSJ and JSSI collected in SSCI database, and concluded that currently the perspectives of researches on sports ethnography were diversified, including local ethnography, oversea ethnography, virtual ethnogra-phy, autobiographical ethnography, individual life history and reflective study etc, providing a lot of inspirations to the change of perspectives of researches on sports anthropology and the application of research methods in China.
