(Department of Physical Education and Training,Shanghai University of Sport,Shanghai 200438,China) Abstract: The author analyzed the necessity of, problems to be faced in and implementation strategies for event-specific high school physical education teaching reform, and put forward the following opinions: the necessity is mainly embodied in adhering to the “health first” guiding ideology, realizing the “3 in 1” objective of school physical education, closely following high school students’ mental development characteristics, embodying stu-dents’ subject nature in teaching activities, etc; problems to be faced mainly include the followings: the concept of “event-specific physical education” teaching needs to be clarified; teacher power needs to be enhanced; teaching theory support needs to be strengthened; the management system needs to be perfected, etc. Therefore, the author put forward the following implementation strategies for event-specific physical education teaching reform: clarify the concept of “event-specific physical education” teaching, get hold of the “teaching” core; enhance teacher power from such 3 aspects as “pre-job training, on-the-job training and teacher source”; further perfect teaching syllabus, teaching objective and teaching evaluation system; establish a “multiple parties coordinated and jobs divided coop-erative” management system, etc. Key words: school physical education;event-specific physical education teaching;high school physical education |
