(Department of Physical Education,Shenzhen Polytechnic,Shenzhen 518055,China) Abstract: By collecting and analyzing related material data of sports social organizations in Shenzhen, the author found that there were the following problems in the development of sports social organizations in Shenzhen: “de-administration” was not powerful enough, the relationship between sports administrative departments and sports social organizations could not be oriented accurately; the number of sports social organizations was relatively on the small side, the number of sports associations and the number of private non-enterprise sports organizations were developed in an unbalanced fashion; sports social organizations’ ability to undertake government function transfer and purchase service was inadequate; the functions of pivot type sports social organizations needed to be intensified. Aiming at the said problems, the author put forward the following suggestions according to China’s policies for the development of social organizations nowadays: clarify the relationship between sports administrative departments and sports social organizations, realize the separation between government functions and social organizations; in-novate on ways of service, effectively expand the team of sports social organizations; increase the power for culti-vating and supporting sports social organizations, enhance business abilities; perfect the pivot functions of China Sports Federation, so that it becomes a bridge and bond for the development of sports social organizations.
