(School of Physical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510006,China) Abstract: By referring to the successful experience of Hong Kong Athlete Employment and Education Program in such aspects as service object, service content, service procedure and resource protection etc, the author concluded that athlete career transition service in mainland China can be established and perfected in such aspects as optimiz-ing the main organizational framework, focusing on service individualized customization, valuing the cultivation of the sense of social belonging, strengthening fund assurance and supervision, etc. Key words: sports management;Hong Kong Athlete Employment and Education Program;retired athlete |
