(School of Physical Education,Central China Normal University,Wuhan 430079,China) Abstract: The author analyzed the fact of gender deviation in school physical education in China, and put forward the following opinions: 1) in school physical education in China nowadays there are problems such as gender cov-ering, gender separation, gender exclusion, gender stereotype, gender discourse power deviation, etc; 2) the actual disadvantage of females’ political status, the input unbalance of economic resources, the gender bias of cultural tra-dition, the gender deviation of educational tradition, and the limitation of interest related subjects themselves, are the causes for the occurrence of the gender problem in school physical education in China. Based on the considera-tion of the common human nature and gender difference of education subject, the author put forward the following proposals for eliminating the gender problem in school physical education in China: adopt a gender sensitive educa-tion mode, eliminate gender bias and gender covering; promote the awaking of gender awareness of related interest subjects, break through gender recognition deviation in school physical education; establish and implement gender equal school physical education policies, assure the factual equality of the school physical education field; rebuild the gender discourse power in school physical education, promote the development of gender discourse power from deviation to regression; introduce the idea of inclusion to eliminate gender exclusion, promote school physical edu-cation to become the home for gaining happiness.
