| （1.School of Physical Education，Southwest University，Beibei 400715，China；2.Tongliang No.2 Middle School，Tongliang 402560，China) Abstract: From the perspective of physical education teaching activity occurring conditions, physical education teachers’ occupational characteristics mainly show as follows: occupational objects’ complexity and motivation, occupational purposes’ education and health nature, occupational contents’ operability and individuality, occupa-tional means’ “body instrumentality” and generativity, occupational scenes’ openness and uncertainty. In the mean time, based on these characteristics, the authors rethought physical education teacher professionalization, and put forward several inspirations for promoting physical education teacher professionalization, such as that physical education teacher professionalization not only is individual quality professionalization, but also should go from oc-cupation to professionalization, etc.
