| （School of Physical Education，Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences，Chongqing 402160，China) Abstract: Based on the perspectives of nature, society and humanity, the authors analyzed the survival culture in the process of origination and development of traditional minority national sports, found that the origination of traditional mi-nority national sports was closely related to human beings’ survival ability, survival space, survival worship and survival reproduction etc, realized a survival cultural leap in terms of quality with social and historical development, and changed toward such directions as fitness and health, competition standardization, cultural custom and artistic performance etc.
