| （1.Guangdong Academy of Education，Guangzhou 510035，China；2.Department of Physical Education and Health，Department of Education of Guangdong Province，Guangzhou 510080，China) Abstract: The authors probed into the theoretical basis and practical effect of junior high school physical education “administrative class + option” teaching, pointed out that such a teaching organization form fits student’s sports in-terest and individualized needs, is the requirement for implementing “sport and art 2 + 1” and Compulsory Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard, and the need of establishing from elementary school to university con-nected physical education teaching. The “administrative class+option” teaching organization has a significant effect no matter on student’s interest, attitude and social adaptation, or on student’s physical makings and sports skills, is an ought to be teaching organization form of junior high school physical education teaching.
