(E-Institute of Ethics in Physical Education,Sport and Health,Shanghai University of Sport,Shanghai 200438,China) Abstract: By clarifying the historical origin, connotation and extension of physical education teacher stigmatiza-tion, from the perspectives of psychology, historical culturology, sociology and ethics, the authors analyzed stigma-tization formation mechanisms, and summed them up as follows: prejudice based on individual interaction; symbol violence made by social power; unfairness caused by social system imperfection; moral gradient metaphor under traditional culture. On the basis of academic analysis, the authors studies the issue and put forward the following strategies for de-stigmatization: 1)microscopic level: change the “subject-object” deviation cognition structure; 2)intermediate level: establish a modern physical education teacher interest assurance mechanism by means of legal and ethical coordination; 3)macroscopic level: launch sports cultural re-enlightenment to society.
