| （School of Education，Beijing Sport University，Beijing 100084，China) Abstract: Collating the veins of development of school physical education ideology research, and clarifying the current situation of and problems existing in school physical education ideology research, are the foundation and precondition for building a socialist physical education ideology system with Chinese features. By using literature data, the authors carried out an analysis and a review on school physical education ideology related research since the founding of new China, and revealed the following findings: since the founding of new China, school physical education ideology research related achievements in China have been ever increasingly abundant, the research has not only explored basic concepts of school physical education ideologies, the school physical education ideologies of different schools and scholars, but also formed certain research paradigms, and its disciplinary foundations have been being expanded too. But at the same time, such research topics as the basic theories and ways of collating of school physical education ideologies, the comparison of Chinese and foreign school physical education ideologies, the localization of foreign school physical education ideologies etc, can still be further deepened and perfected.
