(1.School of Physical Education,Central China Normal University,Wuhan 430079,China;2.School of Physical Education,Jiangxi Normal University,Nanchang 330022,China;3.Yunshishan Junior High School,Ganzhou 342500,China) Abstract: The authors carried out an analysis on cases of physical education teachers in developed countries such as Brit-ain, USA and Australia utilizing information technologies to assist physical education, and revealed the following results: education information technology equipment frequently used in international K-12 physical education nowadays includes visual equipment, auditory equipment, motion perception equipment and multiple modes mixed equipment; applying in-formation technologies such as wearable equipment, recording and playing equipment, application programs and social media in physical education can stimulate students’ physical education learning interest, and promote students’ participa-tion in physical education. The authors pointed out the followings: in the process of physical education informatization re-form at the basic education boosting stage in the future, China should change the development conception, value informa-tion technologies’ value in physical education, pay attention to the development and application of new technologies, pro-mote the integration of emerging technologies and physical education courses, improve physical education teachers’ in-formation attainments for the purpose of professional development, and specify physical education informatization re-source construction directions based on needs.
