Abstract: “Embodied cognition” emphasizes the embodied logic of cognition generation, fitting into the connota-tions of school physical education that realizes student comprehensive education based on the body. The cultivation of physical education and health core attainments of students is a basic objective of school physical education, both the formation and development of their sports abilities, health behaviors and sports morals have the distinct conno-tations of embodied cognition. In the process of physical education teaching, the teachers should, from such aspects as clarifying the internal logic of embodied cognition of physical education and health disciplinary core attainments, establishing such a teaching conception as basing the subject on the body, creating the physical education teaching process of embodied cognition thinking, and building physical education teaching scenarios for active body forma-tion, combine the scientific conception of embodied cognition with physical education teaching practice, so as to effectively promote the formation and development of physical education and health core attainments of students.
