In the construction of the modern Chinese country and Chinese national community, chaquan has become the way and means of shaping ethnic identity and transforming the national body through genealogical narration and Military Country Education thoughts. From the perspective of symbolic and historical anthropology, combined with litera-ture and field surveys, this paper investigates the narration of Chaquan genealogy and its spread and role in modern China, and takes the practice of Chaquan of the Hui nationality in Guangzhou during the period of the Republic of China as an example, as well as pointing out that Chaquan, as a collective memory and bodily skill, is not only a way of ethnic cohesion, but also its social communication is helpful to the national construction and national physi-cal transformation in modern China and stimulates the consciousness of the Chinese national community. The con-struction process of "nation", "ethnic group" and "Chinese national community" in modern China presents a trinity mode of simultaneous development, mutual interaction and benefit.
