(Department of Basic Courses，Shandong University of Science and Technology，Jinan 250031，China) Abstract: Block chain is an unprecedented technology innovation, which plays an important role in many fields, and its application field, development path and promotion measures in sports are becoming definitive. By means of the method of literature review, expert interviews and comprehensive analysis, this paper expounds the development course, basic structure, feasibility applying to public sports service and the selection of block chain type, and puts forward some practical problems and solution schemes in its current implementation. The application scenarios with that in public sports service are as follows: effectively promoting the formation of pluralistic supply mechanism, establishing incentive mechanism in the form of virtual currency, breaking up the "isolated island" of information and promoting resource sharing; strengthening the standardization of public sports service and the scientific construction of performance evaluation; and facilitating efficient implementation of national physical monitoring.
