Abstract: From the perspective of history, it is found that the application path of students' physical fitness test data in China has experienced the changes from "result generation" to "result generation - feedback application - research and judgment intervention". In the process of changes, it has some problems such as disassimilation of result-oriented function for students' physical fitness test, the serious waste of data resources, and the single path of data application. The study indicates that with the change of the role and function for the government in the field of students' physical health promotion, we should speed up the transformation of the application path of physical fitness test data, and provide corresponding suggestions from three aspects at the same time, such as promoting schools to shift from data collection to data utilization, promoting the connotative development of school physical education, as well as supplying helpfulness to build a healthy China.
