(1.School of Physical Education,Central China Normal University,Wuhan 430079,China;2.Research Institute of Sports Culture,Central China Normal University,Wuhan 430079,China) Abstract: France is one of the earliest countries establishing normal education in the world, and its teachers’assessment system has becoming gradually mature with years of reform and development, which was attracted and took pages widely by other countries across the world. The present study holds that the examination for french teachers’ qualification certificate in physical and sports education shows: the requirement of high-educational background ensures the quality of physical education teacher; specifying the criteria of professional skills and paying attention to professional level of physical education teachers; cross-disciplinary and wide[ranging examination content promoting the various knowledge of physical education teachers; closely combing real examination means to examine the practicable teaching ability to analyze and design of physical education teachers; deeply integrating the examination procedure of information technology to emphasize the informational literacy of physical education teachers; the systematical practice and examination to enhance the practicable teaching experience of physical education teachers. Combing with the actual situation in China, this study suggests some optimization strategies of qualifying examination for Chinese physical education teachers, in order to supply some benefits to improve the physical education teachers’ quality and promote the construction of teachers in the new era.
