(School of Physical Education,Henan University,Kaifeng 475000,China) Abstract: A text analysis of 34 "key points of the work of the Ministry of Education" from 1987 to 2021 will explore the policy attention allocation of the school physical education from five dimensions such as support and security, physical education teaching, extracurricular activities, system construction, and health. It is found that the field of support security turns from the allocation of necessary physical education and sports facilities to the integration of school and social resources; the field of physical education teaching turns from the advancement of curriculum reform to the interaction between curriculum system and teacher development; the field of extracurricular activities turns from the advocacy of physical exercise to the connection of learning and practice content in-and-outside physical education class; the field of system construction turns from the establishment of systems and standards to the drive of evaluation and monitoring; the field of health turns from the guarantee of "disease prevention and safety" to the deepening of health education and active intervention. Then it puts forward some optimization strategies: building a "community" to lead the integration of physical education and sports resources among stakeholders; strengthening teachers' curriculum responsibility and professional identity to inject new vitality into curriculum reform; improving the closed loop of "learning, practice, competition and evaluation" and promoting the connection of learning and practice contents in-and-outside the class; promoting multiple participation and strengthening the policy implementation of "supervision-evaluation-accountability"; highlighting literacy guidance and strengthening the integration and symbiosis of physical education and health.
