(1.School of Physical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510006,China; 2.School of Physical Education,Jinan University,Guangzhou 510632,China) Abstract: The Qing transcript of the "Revision of Shaolin Zhengzhuan" covers a wide range of martial arts contents, and that’s revised during the lately Qing and early Republican period. Based on a philological analysis, this study is extended to the sociological inspection of civil martial arts ecosystem. The research shows martial arts has separated from the elite class, and embraced a much broader “Native China”. The interpersonal pattern through the native China reflects the self-realization process of the martial art population individually, while as the martial arts as a whole gradually find its social basis, and further more aid the people inside to relocate and adapt accordingly. This kind of combined study between these literature and social theory, could contribute to analyze the complex and social Wushu phenomena as well as the study of Chinese martial arts research.
