By the methods of literature and logical analysis, and based on 3 layers of policy background, school reform, and teachers’ development, this paper explains the connotation for responsibility of the outstanding physical education teachers in the new era: keeping the pulse of school physical education in the new era; building a solid foundation for the health of teenagers; establishing a new era of meritorious service and be able to cultivate people with physical education, in order to promote the professional development for excellent physical education teachers in the new era, improve and intensify the work of school physical education, stably build a foundation of teenagers’ physical and mental health, and then further provide references for consolidating the establishment of virtue and cultivating people.
