| (Department of Physical Education, Jining Teacher' College,Jining 272000,China) Abstract: The PE poor students refer to those whose abilities are not so good relatively.They are a special group to be treated in PE. The basic enducation in our country is changing from traditional enducation into classroom-system.Under this background,to study this problem has great significance.It fulfils the ideology which not only emphsises the importance of education and health,but also improves the education in PE.The study bases on the practice of PE and the causes survey.It inquires into characteristics of the special group in primay and secondary school,using the method of fixing quantity and quality.The investigation result shows:It can be classified into four types that includes the students who are poor in inherent power,growth sharp,athletics ability,and the mastery of technique.The paper also analyzes the characteristics and causes of all types of stdents in the special group.
