(School of Physical Education,Yancheng Teachers University,Yancheng 224002,China) Abstract: The technical courses reflect the characteristics and fundamentals of the training of physical education majors. Influenced by the traditional training mode, there are many cruxes in the teaching of technical subjects. Combined with the technical reform and practice of physical education major in Yancheng Teachers University, this work summarizes the experience of teaching reform as follows: focusing on the three concepts of "learning to educate people, learning to teach, and learning to develop", to achieve breakthroughs in ideas; “implementation of technical courses” “integrating inside and outside school, inside and outside the classroom”, and optimizing the teaching mode; “based on the needs of basic education and focus on post-employment development”, and integrating curriculum content; implementing the system of “inspection” + “separation of teaching and examination” to innovate teaching evaluation; from “technical improvement as an object” to “generation of teaching ability as a goal”, so that changing teachers’ concept. To eventually form a teaching reform system guided by ideas and supported by teaching mode, course content, and teaching evaluation, in order to provide a useful reference for the teaching reform of physical education majors in colleges and universities.
