As the core content of the reform of the sports talent cultivating system, the curriculum ideological and political education construction on the colleges of physical education should fit in with the concept of new liberal arts and give full play to its unique value shaping and the function of educating students. By using the methods of literature and logical analysis, based on the logical mechanism of the new liberal arts acting on the curriculum ideological and political education construction on colleges of physical education, it is found that there are the following practical dilemmas in the curriculum ideological and political education construction on colleges of physical education under the background of new liberal arts: the educational goal of curriculum ideological and political education construction is not clear enough, the integration of curriculum design and ideological and political education is not deep enough, the teaching means of curriculum ideological and political education construction is relatively backward, and the coordination mechanism of curriculum ideological and political education construction is not sound enough. The research puts forward that the realization path of curriculum ideological and political education construction on colleges of physical education under the background of new liberal arts: taking the training goal of new liberal arts talents as the guide, and assume the mission of cultivating students on curriculum ideological and political education construction for colleges of physical education; taking the integration and innovation of new liberal arts as the driving force to promote the deep integration of ideological and political education and courses in colleges of physical education; taking the new liberal arts education technology as a means to stimulate the vitality of the curriculum ideological and political teaching education construction; and take the reform of the new liberal arts management system as the guarantee to build a full-chain pattern to cultivate students.
