(School of Physical Education,Soochow University,Suzhou 215021,China) Abstract: The quality management of public sports services in urban community is a fundamental component to promote the implementation of the strategy of a leading sporting nation, and also to enhance the well-being of community residents. The PDCA cycle mechanism for optimizing the quality management of public sports services in urban communities is constructed by combining the PDCA quality management cycle model, along with the research methods of literature, field research and case study analysis. Starting from the interlocking quality management cycle of "matching service demand, providing service decision, monitoring service evaluation, and perfecting service improvement", this study analyzes the contents of community sports service quality management practices in 4 provinces with Guangdong, Hunan, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu. Based on this, the implementation path of optimizing the quality management of public sports services in urban communities has been naturally proposed, which is to promote the dynamic integration of supply and demand through active sinking and in-depth excavation, to promote the overlapping strategy of government-citizen interaction, to highlight the value of decision-making and co-creation, to make use of the standard to lead the synergistic interaction and focus on the multi-dimensional evaluation and control, and to strengthen the response by virtue of the numerical and intellectual drive, and also to enhance the effectiveness of the information transmission.
