(School of Physical Education,Sichuan Normal University,Chengdu 610101,China) Abstract: The development of youth sports inAustraliahas always been in the forefront of the world, and the implementation of after-school physical education services is also relatively mature. The summarize of its practical development can offer enlightenment for the promotion of after-school physical education service after the "double reduction" inChina. The study found that Australia's after-school physical education service has the development characteristics of professional teaching staff, personalized implementation content, sharing of venue facilities, and diversified service institutions, and the action leading mechanism based on laws and policies, the resource support mechanism for different groups, the security guarantee mechanism focusing on the service process, and the supervision and feedback mechanism based on follow-up investigation has ensured the steady development of after-school physical education services in Australia. Given that, the enlightenment for development of after-school physical education service in China has been listed as follows: (1) optimizing the top-level design, and improving the long-term mechanism of after-school physical education service operation; (2) promoting curriculum reform, and building a integrating service system curriculum inside and outside the school; (3) cooperating with multiple entities, and building a regional and multi-functional development management model; (4) attaching importance to students' development, and exploring ways to cultivate differentiated and personalized ability.
