| (Department of Physical Education,Shaoguan College,Shaoguan 512005,China) Abstract: Through investigation and literature research,the author has discussed that Guangzhou's bid for the host of 2010 Asia Games relies onits advantage of district and integrated economic power.The success of bid for the host of the games will boost up both the siginificance in such aspects as promoting the modernization of the city,raising its reputation,improving the citizen's personality and the industial construction such as physical education, arthitecture, commerce, service, imformation and transportation.
