| (Department of Physical Education,Xi'an University of Science and Technology，Xi'an 710054,China) Abstract: The paper categorizes the themes of the dissertations published in the Third National Youth Athletics Scientific Seminar and unearths a statistic of the themes.Based on probing into the themes of 187 dissertations of 12 subjects,the author explores the characteristics and tendency of the development of the national athletic scientific research.
