| (College of PE and Soprts,Beijing Normal University,Beijing 100875,China) Abstract:Physical education textbook has its special functions and usages which are different from those of other subjects because of the academic characteristics of physical education.Although physical education textbook has had a 20 years history in China,there is few theoretical research on the functions and usages of the textbook,which leads to directly lack of theoretical basis when there are needs of compilation and authorization of physical education texbooks.A preliminary study is made here to explore the theoretical problems existing in compiling and authorizing physical education textbooks.
