| (Department of Physical Education,Yibin College,Yibin 644007,China) Abstract: The author analyzed the main problems existed in javelin throwing step teaching in physical education colleges (departments) in institutes and universities in normal category, considered that the main problem is the inadequate emphasis by Track and Field teaching material used in colleges and universities on the analysis and teaching essentials of javelin technique,besides the defects existed in the teaching, and put forward corresponding countermeasures.
